Reports to: The Chief Magistrate of the relevant Chief Magisterial Area.
Duties include presiding over a Magistrate Grade One Court, hearing civil and criminal matters within jurisdiction, and writing reasoned judgments within prescribed timelines.
Minimum qualifications: A Bachelor of Laws degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, enrolment as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda, and at least two years post-enrolment experience.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to sit an aptitude test before interviews.
