Call for Memoranda on Proposed Judicial Reforms

In line with its mandate to advise Government on improving the administration of justice, the Judicial Service Commission invites memoranda from members of the public, civil society organizations, legal practitioners, and academia on proposed reforms to the Judicature Act and the Magistrates Courts Act.

Memoranda should be submitted in hard copy to the Secretary of the Commission at Farmers House, Parliament Avenue, Kampala, or by email to reforms@jsc.go.ug, on or before 31st July 2026. Selected contributors may be invited to present their views before the Commission.
